Origin
13th century.
Provenance
Unknown origin and early provenance. A former librarian has made a note on f. SL1r that states that the manuscript is related to the Dominican order and the church of Poland, Bohemia, and Germany. However, no evidence is cited for this.
The manuscript has been at the National Library since at least the 17th century. It is believed to be the manuscript listed as ‘Missale Membrana’ in Vossius's catalogue of 1649 (U 212:1, p. 53). It is also listed in the catalogue of 1734 (U 125e) as ‘Theol. in fol. 14’.
